We never got tired of this. Simple, crisp, and tasty. Perfect with grilled sardines, Fava, Horta, all the usual suspects.

After visiting the temple, we kept walking along to the monastery. Still active, we were shown around by gracious hosts. They had a little shop with a range of goods, all made on site. We couldn’t really use much of it, but the bottled peaches were magnificent.
The Temple of Aphaea

I headed out early a couple of times in the hope of catching some of those unforgettable photos. It never really happened, but still beautiful.

Not an award winning beer, but location has to count for something, doesn’t it?
Our favourite rock

As we walked up from the port, this rock was on our right. We ended up spending many pleasant hours swimming here and basking on the rock.
